The Dowagiac varsity tennis team proved to be too much for host Edwardsburg Friday afternoon in a non-conference match.
The Chieftains swept the doubles flights and won three out of four singles matches to post the 7-1 decision.
Dowagiac (2-8-1) got singles victories from Adam Carlson, Sonny Swartz and Mike Hoff.
Edwardsburg's lone victory came at No. 2 singles where Branden Muszynski was a straight sets winner.
Winning in doubles for the Chieftains were Josue Miranda and Mike DeRose, Jon Woolsey and Aaron Wilson, Kyle Kowalski and Henry Krohne and Andrew Cuthbert and Tyler Cook.
