The Dowagiac junior varsity softball team swept New Buffalo Wednesday, 16-0 and 19-0.
Katie Roach (9-0) won the first game, while Lori Key (6-2) won the nightcap.
Felicia Hood tripled, doubled and singled for the Chieftains in the first game. Lynn Zachary and Molly Seurynck had three hits. Sara Ausra and Roach had two hits each.
In the second game, Katie Hewitt tripled. Amber Clark had two hits.
Dowagiac is now 15-2.
