O’Keefe, Stuppy double winners at Rotary Meet

Junior Anne O'Keefe and freshman Katy Stuppy were both double winners Friday night at the 48th annual Rotary Track Meet in St. Joseph.
O'Keefe captured the pole vault with a height of 9-feet, while Stuppy won the 200-meters with a time of 27.91.
The two then combined with Sade Nealey and Ashley Urbanski to win the 400-meter relay with a time of 52.73.
Dowagiac's other champion in the non-scoring meet which pits the best performers from Berrien, Cass and Van Buren counties, was senior Kyle Bennett, who won the pole vault with a height of 12-feet.
Urbanski finished third in both events. She ran 12.96 in the 100-meters and leaped 15-9 in the long jump.
O'Keefe was also fifth in the long jump with a distance of 13-10.5.
Dowagiac's Isaiah Jones was third in the long jump with a leap of 19-6.75, while the 400-meter relay team of Jones, Russell Sizemore, James Laymon and Elijah Caldwell were fourth with a time of 45.98.
Caldwell was also fifth in the 100-meters with a time of 11.87, while Sam Preston was fifth in the 800-meters with a time of 2:06.8.
Dowagiac returns to the track on Tuesday when it travels to Niles for a Big 16 West Division meet scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m.
