GRANGER, Ind. - Knollwood Country Club is partnering with ESPN for their national golf challenge, "Searching for America's Best 2 Some."
Knollwood Country Club, owned by ClubCorp, the world leader in delivering premier golf, private club and resort experiences, will hold an open-to-the-public qualifier on Monday, May 2.
The entry fee is $80 per person, and includes guest fees, cart, range balls, Grill Out Lunch and the hole-in-one Ace Adventures program.
All golfers also will be given a tee prize of a dozen Callaway HX Tour golf balls, an annual subscription to Golf Magazine and an invitation to return to play Knollwood Country Club at a later date.
Two-person amateur teams, with maximum allowable handicaps of 24 strokes, are eligible for the event.
The gross and net division winning teams from local qualifying sites will advance to regional qualifiers with the top teams advancing to the finals.
The national golf challenge benefits one of ESPN's major charities, "The V Foundation for Cancer Research."
