NILES - The Niles Wrestling Club competed at the Freestyle Tournament at Lakeshore High School last weekend. Niles had 23 wrestlers with 16 wrestlers placing and earning medals.
Taking home first place medals were Brody Grishaber, Matt Miller and Alex Shell. Second place medals went to Conner Brawley, Tommy Newton, A.J. Shell and Christian Shell. Third place medals went to Fritzel Findeisen, Mitchell Findeisen and Alex Kelly. Fourth place medals went to William Newton, Brandon Wideman and Collin Wilson and a fifth place medal went to Zayne Grishaber.
The wrestlers returned to action this week at Constantine and Grand Haven.
