DOWAGIAC - St. Joseph outscored Coloma 8-4 in overtime Saturday night to capture the Class B District Basketball championship at Dowagiac Union High School, 59-55.
The two teams were tied at 51 heading into overtime.
David Clore led the Bears with 16 points. Kyle Hammond added 14 points and Jared Knuth 13. Coloma was led by Jermain Murphy with 17 points.
St. Joe now advances to Regional play at the Battle Creek Kellogg Arena where they will face Parchment Tuesday at 6 p.m.
