LANSING - Spring weight restrictions for commercial truck traffic will go into effect on state highways today.
Weight restrictions will be imposed and enforced for commercial truck traffic on state trunkline highways.
There are no restrictions for legal loads on roads designated as "all-season trunklines," which include the majority of state highways. All extended permits will be valid for oversized loads in the weight-restricted area on the restricted routes.
Permits will not be issued for any loads exceeding 14 feet in width on the restricted routes.
