Two arrested for drug dealing on Robinson Street

An investigation by the Cass County Drug Enforcement Team into narcotics dealing from a residence inside the City of Dowagiac led to arrest of two individuals and the seizure of a large amount of crack cocaine and more than $300 in cash on Feb. 14 at approximately 1:30 p.m.
Investigators served a search warrant on a residence on Robinson Street in Dowagiac where they discovered approximately $500 street value of crack cocaine and cash inside the residence.
The residents, a male and a female, were subsequently arrested for maintaining a drug house, possession of crack/cocaine with intent to deliver, possession of marijuana and other unrelated warrants. Assisting at the time of the search warrant was the Cass County Warrant Service Team, Cass County Animal Control officers as well as investigators with the Sheriff's Office.
Names of the suspects arrested will be identified after their arraignment Tuesday in Fourth District Court.
