Brandywine was scheduled to play four, but Clarkston was a no show, only allowing it three matches.
Brandywine split its first two pool matches in pool D, losing to Marshall 18-25, 25-21, 11-25 and beating Hillsdale 25-15, 25-23, 10-25.
The Bobcats lost their first game in the Gold pool to Union City 6-25, 17-25.
Emily Whitney had 34 assists, 14 kills and four aces for the Bobcats. Nikki Cooper had 19 digs and 15 kills. Katie Tuohy had 13 kills, five blocks and four aces. Ashley Antus had 19 digs and Nikki Martyniuk had five blocks for Brandywine.
The Bobcats travel across town to meet Niles tonight for a non-conference match-up. The JV and freshmen play first, with varsity set to start at 7 p.m.
