DOWAGIAC - Niles captured the championship of the seventh annual Dowagiac Rotary Club Snowed Out Shoot Out for seventh and eighth grade boys basketball teams.
Niles defeated Marcellus in the championship game, 41-24 on Sunday.
In the consolation contest, Cassopolis defeated Hartford, 50-24. Lakeshore grabbed fifth place with a 31-20 victory over Covert. Bangor edged Watervliet, 36-33, to grab seventh place.
Dowagiac finished ninth with a 54-4 win over Edwardsburg.
All-Star Hustle Awards went to Kyle Sheer of Niles, Shaun Bruens of Dowagiac, Wade Smous of Edwardsburg, Nicholas Davis of Cassopolis, Kyle Moytcka of Marcellus, Trace Schewe of Lakeshore, Kevin Bryce of Watervliet, Quan Williams of Covert, Alex Everett of Bangor and Kyle Hallgren of Hartford.
