NILES - UPS is now here to serve the community of Niles.
In addition to shipping through UPS and other carriers, The UPS Store, at 732 S. 11th Street, also offers a variety of products and services aimed at helping customers save time. Those include full-service packaging, mailbox and postal services, black-and-white and color copying, document finishing, along with office, moving and packaging supplies.
The store is in the business of saving people time and with the shipping prices direct from UPS, said Lister. They can save people money as well, he added.
City Administrator Terry Eull said, "We are glad to have them here, and they are in a great location and we hope they do well."
Prior to purchasing The UPS Store franchise, Lister worked as Logistics Manager for Encyclopedia Britannica from 2000-2004. He is a 1989 graduate of Western Michigan University with a degree in business management. He then earned his MBA from DePaul University.
Lister is a native of Buchanan and graduated from Galien High School.
The UPS stores hours of operation are 8 a.m-6 p.m Monday through Friday and 9 a.m -5 p.m. on Saturday.
