Marshall’s Sharp shooting too much for Vikes

Niles took another loss in the Big 16 conference play Tuesday night against Marshall, 61-36.
Evan Sharpley, who signed to play football with Notre Dame on Tuesday, scored 17 of his 26 points for Marshall in the first quarter alone to give the Redskins a huge lead.
Niles was never able to recover.
Nick Etzcorn and Tom Robson both lead Niles with seven points each. Brandon Thomas scored six and Nate Parks added five.
The Vikings shot only 25 percent, 15-of-60 for the night.
Niles will tarvel to Dowagiac Friday night for Big 16 Conference West Division contest.
Tip off is set to begin at 7:30 p.m.
