Police detail drug arrests

On Jan. 26 at approximately 4:30 p.m. the Cass County Drug Enforcement Team executed a search warrant for narcotics at a residence in the 100 block of Commercial Street in Dowagiac.
Subjects arrested in this narcotics raid were arraigned in Fourth District Court Thursday by Judge Paul Deats.
Charges and bond amounts are as follow:
Joshua Cooper, 20, of Dowagiac, possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and two firearm-related charges. Bond was set at $5,000 for all four charges.
James Francis Servis, 19, of Dowagiac, possession of marijuana and frequenting a drug house; bond set at $1,100.
Jeremy Fletcher Sheffer, 18, of Dowagiac, frequenting a drug house; bond set at $100.
Artimus Galen Ruiz, 23, of Dowagiac, frequenting a drug house and two warrants for failure to appear on traffic charges; bond set at $100.
Two other individuals were at the residence and will be charged with frequenting a drug house.
One of these subjects is a juvenile.
Another was Cooper's pregnant wife, whom investigators said they will be seeking charges against through the Prosecutor's Office.
