River Valley pins its way to win over Cass

CASSOPOLIS - Visiting River Valley spoiled Cassopolis' final home match of the season Wednesday night with a 41-36 victory.
The Mustangs used pins at 112, 160, 171 and 189 to edge the Rangers in a Lakeland Conference match.
River Valley also earned a forfeit win at 103 and technical falls at 119- and 171-pounds.
The best match of the night featured two of the area's best wrestlers at 135-pounds.
River Valley's Mike Stein edged Cassopolis' Justin Tucker, 13-11 in overtime.
Stein and Tucker will more than likely meet in a rematch on Saturday at the Southwest Michigan Wrestling Invitational in Stevensville. (see related story Page 9)
