CASSOPOLIS - Cass County Sheriff Joseph Underwood Jr. reports his office responded to Penn Road at around 8:30 p.m. Monday for an armed home invasion complaint.
It appears that the home owner, Thomas Friend, 28, of Cassopolis, returned home after running errands and was met at the door of his residence by three armed, unidentified subjects dressed in ski masks.
After a brief struggle with one subject, the home owner was able to get out of the house and ran next door to call 911.
The suspects fled the residence at that time. No one was injured during the incident.
Anyone with any information regarding this complaint is urged to contact the Cass County Sheriff's Office at 445- 2481. The complaint remains under investigation.
