On a cold and snowy night when most athletic events were canceled, the Buchanan Bucks braved the roads and headed to Cassopolis for its Lakeland Conference match against the host Rangers.
The trip paid off for the Bucks, who defeated the Rangers at Ross Beatty High School, 46-33.
The loss was the first of the season for the Rangers in Lakeland Conference matches. Cassopolis is now 2-1 in the league.
Buchanan remained undefeated on the season (9-0) and is now 3-0 in the league.
The Bucks won matches at 103, 112, 119, 125, 145, 160, 189 and 275. All but one of those victories came by the way of pins.
Cassopolis won matches at 130, 135, 140, 152, 171 and 215. All but one of those wins came via the pin fall.
