CASSOPOLIS - The Cass County Sheriff's Office is investigating a head-on collision on M-51 South at 4:20 p.m. Monday that injured two Dowagiac residents.
Thomas D. Braswell Jr., 35, lost control of his northbound vehicle on the snow-covered highway.
Braswell's vehicle crossed over the centerline, hitting a southbound vehicle driven by Richard A. Miller, 32.
Miller, who was wearing a seatbelt, received minor injuries and was treated at the scene by the Dowagiac ambulance crew.
Braswell, not belted, was transported to Borgess-Lee Memorial Hospital by Dowagiac ambulance for treatment of injuries he sustained.
The Sheriff's Office was assisted by Dowagiac ambulance and fire personnel, as well as the Pokagon Township Fire Department.
While still under investigation, deputies said alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the Dec. 20 crash.
