Dowagiac grad returns to Elmhurst

ELMHURST, Ill. - Craig Schau of Cassopolis is a returning letter-winner on the 2004-2005 Elmhurst College men's basketball team.
Schau, a 6-foot-1 senior guard, is majoring in accounting at Elmhurst.
Last season he averaged 1.9 points per game in 14 games.
Prior to attending Elmhurst he spent two seasons at Lake Michigan College, where he served as team captain and earned all-conference honors.
A graduate of Dowagiac Union High School, Schau was a three-year letter winner and was a three-time all-conference honoree.
He also garnered honorable mention all-state status during his senior year, when he finished sixth in the state in free-throw percentage.
Craig is the son of Mark and Debby Wisniewski of Cassopolis and of Craig and Kelly Schau of Niles.
The Elmhurst Bluejays finished the 2003-2004 season with an 11-14 overall record and finished in seventh place in the College Conference in Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW).
Elmhurst is a charter member of the CCIW and competes in the Division III level of the NCAA.
Founded in 1871, Elmhurst College is affiliated with the United Church of Christ.
Located 16 miles west of downtown Chicago, the college is in the residential suburb of Elmhurst.
