BUCHANAN - Police Chief Brian Russell has submitted his resignation effective Jan. 18, 2005 and accepted the position as police chief with the Dewitt Township Police Department.
City Manager Michael Hughes expressed appreciation for Russell's nearly seven years of service. "Russell provided positive leadership and improved the department's relationship with the community," Hughes said.
