ALBION - Adam Dohm, the son of James Dohm and Janelle Dohm of Cassopolis and a graduate of Dowagiac Union High School, has received his senior varsity award for competing in cross country at Albion College in the fall.
Under the direction of fourth-year head coach Hayden Smith, the Britons enjoyed a fine season with first-place performances at Hope College's Vanderbilt Invitational and the Great Lakes Colleges Association Championships. The Britons finished second in the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association. Despite being hampered by a hamstring injury for most of the season, Dohm was the 31st runner to cross the finish line in the NCAA Great Lakes Regional meet to achieve all-region status.
