Niles draws Shamrocks in first round

In the first game of the Class B District Basketball Tournament, Niles will take on Berrien Springs at 6 p.m on Nov. 15 at Dowagiac.
The host Chieftains drew St. Joseph in the second game on Nov. 15.
The winner of the Dowagiac-St. Joseph contest will advance to the semifinals, which will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 17.
Coloma, which received a first round bye, will take on the Dowagiac-St. Joe winner at 6 p.m.
Lakeshore will face the Niles-Berrien Springs winner on Nov. 17 at 7:30 p.m.
The championship game is set for Nov. 19 at 7:30 p.m.
At Edwardsburg
Host Edwardsburg will kick off the Class B District Basketball Tournament on Monday, Nov. 15 against Sturgis.
The Lady Eddies and Lady Trojans will square off with the winner advancing to the semifinals on Wednesday, Nov. 15 against Battle Creek Harper Creek, which received a first round bye.
Tip-off for the Edwardsburg/Sturgis match up is set for 5:30 p.m.
In the second game of Monday night's doubleheader, Battle Creek Pennfield will face Vicksburg at approximately 7:15 p.m.
The winner advances to Wednesday's semifinal against Three Rivers, which received a first round bye. Tip-off is set for 7:15 p.m.
The championship game is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 19 at 7 p.m.
Class C at White Pigeon
The Cassopolis Rangers will play the host Lady Chiefs in the opening game of the tournament on Monday, Nov. 15 at 6 p.m.
In the second game of the Monday night doubleheader, Marcellus will take on Colon at 8 p.m.
The Cassopolis-White Pigeon winner will face Centreville at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 17 at 6 p.m.
The Marcellus-Colon winner will face Constantine in the second game on Wednesday at 8.
The championship game is set for Friday, Nov. 19 at 7 p.m.
Class C at River Valley
The draw for Brandywine, Buchanan, Bridgman, Eau Claire and host River Valley will be held on Wednesday.
