Lady Bees wax Eddies to remain undefeated

EDWARDSBURG - The Bridgman Lady Bees took an undefeated record into Edwardsburg Tuesday night and made a clinic of it.
During the first quarter, the Eddies took an early one point lead, by using their inside game, making Bridgman commit fouls. As the first quarter came to a close, Bridgman hit two 3-point shots to open up the game and took the lead after the first quarter 15-6.
Bridgman began the second quarter by court pressing, which get into foul trouble and commit costly turnovers.
The Lady Bees outscored the Eddies 30-3 in the second quarter and they took a 45-9 lead into the half.
During the third and fourth quarters, Bridgman was hitting three pointers, inside shots, outside shots, free throws, and just wore out the Eddies.
The Lady Bees were led in scoring by Heather Seyfred with 16 points, to lead all scorers. Melanie Demler added 15 points.
The Eddies were led by Kristen Toney with five points, Kerri Wood with three points, and four other scorers with two points respectively.
Bridgman remains undefeated on the season.
The Eddies drop to 6-10 overall and 4-7 in conference action.
The team will now travel to Dowagiac on Thursday in a non-conference game. They will return home again November 2 to host the Mustangs of River Valley.
