Foston reaches 1,000 points

CASSOPOLIS - Cassopolis senior Jealyn Foston scored her 1,000th career point Saturday night as the host Cassopolis Rangers defeated Centreville in a non-conference contest, 66-29.
Foston finished with a game-high 21 points to lead the Rangers to their 13th victory in 15 games.
Kelsey Gordon added 16 points for the Lady Rangers, while Michelle James added 11 points and Shanice Thompson 10.
Cassopolis led 16-9 after one period of play and 27-11 at the intermission.
The Lady Rangers outscored Centreville 13-5 in the third quarter to open up a 40-16 lead heading into the final eight minutes.
