After their most successful concert at Ross Beatty High School in March, the "Home Town Girls" are returning on Saturday, Oct. 23 with another concert for the Mission of Hope.
Former Miss Cassopolis 1995 and 1996 Ross Beatty graduate, Mack, will be joined by two other Ross Beatty grads, Amanda Green, who was also Miss Cassopolis as a senior in 2000, and her sister Ashley Green, a 2003 graduate.
Since the concert in Cassopolis, they have performed four others in raising around $7,000. The Mission of Hope is an organization which looks to help those with cancer with extra expenses.
Much of the success of that show, she attributes to her mother, Candy Mack, the co-coordinator, her family and the Green family.
This concert will be somewhat shorter, door open at 6:30 p.m., starting at 7 p.m. and ending around 9:30 p.m.
They are adding a new R &B/Rock segment to the show, which they hope will bring some new faces to the audience.
They are also having the show professionally video taped and will be selling VHS for $15, or DVD, for $20, of which 50 percent will be donated back to MHCF.
