The Cassopolis Rangers won their first-ever Michigan High School Athletic Association soccer district match Monday afternoon.
The Rangers defeated visiting Howards-ville Christian, 2-1, to advance to Wednesday's Division 4 semifinals.
No further results were available at press time.
The Rangers hosted Michigan Lutheran in the semifinal with the winner advancing to the championship match on Friday in Marcellus.
The Wildcats also advanced to the semfinals as they blanked Lawton in the first round on Monday, 3-0.
Marcellus hosted Lake Michigan Catholic on Wednesday.
