In a double-dual meet at Bridgman Monday, Brandywine's boys' cross country team lost both its races. The Bobcats fell 19-42 to Bridgman and 24-32 to Eau Claire.
Bridgman also beat Eau Claire 25-32. The race was held at Lake Township Park in Bridgman.
In the girls' race, Brandywine fell to Bridgman 19-30.
Dan Devos led the Bobcat boys, placing fifth in a time of 20:34. Bobby Cooper finished in sixth place in 20:52 for Brandywine.
Justin Blankenship of Eau Claire won the race in 19:13.
Also placing for Brandywine were Roth Cameron, 14th in 24:19, Tom Buzzard, 16th in 27:19, Adam Bruni, 18th in 27:37, and Kurt Pierce, 20th in 36:04.
Caylin Garrard was the top Bobcat finisher in the girls' race, taking fourth in 24:21. Suzanne Pearman was next for Brandywine in fifth place with a time of 37:28.
Bridgman's Megan Mitrovich won the race in 22:38.
The Bobcats host the Brandywine Invitational Saturday, starting at 10 a.m.
