Vandals break out 33 windows at Church of God Full Gospel

NILES - Michigan State Police Niles Post is investigating destruction of property to the Church of God Full Gospel, 2659 Pucker St, in Niles Township.
The incident occurred in the early morning hours on Monday. An unknown suspect or suspects broke out 33 windows to the church.
Anyone with information about the incident are encouraged to contact the Michigan State Police at (269) 683-4411.
On Oct. 8, Niles City Police were dispatched Niles High School, 1441 Eagle St., on a disturbance report.
Officer Scott Swanson located two 16-year-old female students at the back of the school near the art building. School principal Betty Perkins arrived at the school moments later. The two suspects, who are students at the high school, were told by Perkins to leave and return Monday as the were both suspended because of truancy.
Both Perkins and Officer Swanson told the suspects to leave the property multiple times. Eventually, the suspects left, but were seen walking back toward the school by Swanson as he drove away. Swanson located the suspects on school grounds again and arrested them for trespassing.
Both suspects were transported to the Niles Law Enforcement Complex where they were booked and released to their parents.
