Brandywine's tennis team had some trouble making it to Eau Claire for a match Wednesday, but had no problem on the courts.
The Bobcats' bus broke down on the way to Eau Claire and Brandywine arrived an hour late. Because of the delay, each flight played a pro-set, with the first one to win eight games taking the match.
The delay didn't seem to bother Brandywine, as the Bobcats won 8-0 over the Beavers.
The Bobcats didn't take their complete varsity squad to Eau Claire. Brandywine worked in some extra players to gain experience and kept some players behind to practice for Friday's conference meet.
In the pro-set format, three Bobcats won 8-0 and three more won 8-1. Brandywine improves its record to 12-1 on the season.
