Niles Rocket football's minor team 4 played its second game of the season Saturday against Eau Claire. Coach Ty Munger said his swarming defense played tough. Defensive standouts were Jeremy Wortham, Jacob Flemming, Brandon Collins, Dakota McDonald and Logan Harenau. Harenau returned a fumble 75 yards for a touchdown.
The offense was led by Stuart Coulston, who had a 50-yard touchdown run. Dallas Munger threw for a touchdown, and Harenau scored on two runs. Coach Munger said the offensive line of Alex Sinner, Bostin Hand, Trevor Kizer and Warren Wirick did a good job opening large holes for the running backs. Fullback Jake Brentinger also did a good job blocking, Munger said.
Team 4 will be in action Saturday at Edwardsburg.
