The Cassopolis girls' varsity basketball team improved to 3-0 on the season with a 42-39 victory over visiting Colon Tuesday night.
The Lady Rangers grabbed a 12-8 lead after one period of play, however, Colon outscored Cassopolis 13-11 in the second quarter to cut the lead to 23-21.
Colon again outscored Cassopolis in the third quarter to lead 35-33 heading into the final eight minutes.
Cassopolis outscored the Magi 9-4 in the fourth quarter to pull out the victory.
Jealyn Foston led the Lady Rangers offensively for the third straight contest with 17 points.
Cassopolis also got 16 points from Michelle James and six points from Kelsey Gordon.
Colon was led by Joli Schlabach's 14 points.
