Brandywine dropped just five games in eight matches Monday to breeze past Cassopolis 8-0 at Plym Park.
The match was originally scheduled to be at Cass, but was changed to a home game for the Bobcats when the new courts at Plym Park were completed last week.
The Bobcats' Jenny Zollman won at No. 1 singles, beating Cass' Sarah Kwast 6-0, 6-2. Kwast was the only Ranger to win more than one game in her match.
Jenny Cowen of Brandywine beat Brittany Polmateer of Cass 6-0, 6-0 at No. 2 singles.
At No. 3 and No. 4 singles, Brandywine's Amy Konopinski and Amber Valentine each won 6-1, 6-0 over Cass' Cally Hass and Kelli Klimeck, respectively.
Brandywine's doubles teams dropped just one game in four matches. Bethany Daniel and Christine Dvorak won 6-0, 6-1 over Ericka Glenn and Symone Pompey at No. 1 doubles.
Lisa Konopinski and Kristin Peters won 6-0, 6-0 for Brandywine at No. 2 doubles, beating Gabrielle Bailey and Maddalena Angeloni of Cassopolis.
At No. 3 doubles, Nikki Cooper and Courtney Schlutt beat Cass' Kandice McKnight and Brittney Beauchamp 6-0, 6-0.
Brandywine's No. 4 doubles team rounded out the victory, as Ashley Valentine and Jamie Bartuska beat Cassopolis' Diamond Walker and Carmalite Peake 6-0, 6-0.
The Bobcats now head to Niles to face the Vikings today. Marazita said Niles will provide a tough test and show how good his team really is.
