Although Buchanan's girls' tennis team won half the flights at Saturday's South Haven Tournament, the Bucks lost to Otsego in a tie breaker to finish second.
Jaclyn Mummaw took first in No. 2 singles for Buchanan, the first-place finisher in singles for the Bucks.
Buchanan did win three of the four doubles flights, though. Lizzy Thornton and Hannah Flood won at No. 1 doubles. Brittanee Smeltzer and Olivia Bonardi won at No. 3 doubles.
Also, Leslie Niemier and Robyn Bahr won at No. 4 doubles.
Otsego won the other four flights to tie Buchanan in first-place finishes. Buchanan lost in the tie breaker, points from matches lost, to finish season.
South Haven finished third and Coloma took fourth place.
The Bucks face Dowagiac at home Tuesday at 4 p.m. The dual meet is a makeup match from Friday. The two teams were scheduled to play then, but the meet was rained out.
