Brandywine wins at Eaton Park

In three local games at the Eaton Park Invitational Tournament on Wednesday, both Brandywine teams won to stay alive in the tournament. Niles F.O.P. lost to Benton Harbor, however, bouncing the All-Stars from the invitational.
Brandywine's Little League Division A team plays Hartford tonight at 6 p.m. Niles F.O.P.'s Minor League Division A squad faces North Lincoln tonight at 8 p.m.
The tournament continues through the weekend with the championship games on Saturday.

Brandywine belted out 22 hits in the victory. Dalton Raymond, Kyle Duncan and Dennis Jordan each had a team-high three hits.
Minor League
Division B

The game was called in the fourth ended because of the 10-run rule. Conrad Smallmon hit two singles, a double and two RBIs to lead Brandywine. Christopher Mangus also had three hits. Austin Searles an Patrick VanKirk knocked in two runs a piece.
Division C
Benton Harbor….9
Niles F.O.P…….4
It was a close game until Benton Harbor pulled out of reach with four runs in the top of the sixth. Niles had 13 hits in the game. Alex Wright had two hits and two RBIs for Niles. Skyler Kimble added three hits, while Derek Scott and Geordan Griffin added two a piece.
