Brandywine wins big at Eaton Park over weekend

Tate Brawley had two singles and a three-run home run for Howard Township. Tate Rudlaff had two singles and a double.
Division B
Brandywine….18
Three Oaks…….1
Dennis Jordan and Kyle Duncan each had three hits to led Brandywine. Brandywine scored their 18 runs on 20 hits in just three innings.

Cody Ortiz Leonard, Alex Hardy and Ryan Becker all led Brandywine with three hits.
Minor League
Division A
Howard Twp……..12

Zack Fillwock had three RBIs on a home run and a single for Howard Township. Taylor Campbell and Cody Beers each had three hits and two RBIs. Dallas Munger had three hits for one RBI.
South Haven….2

Niles earned just four hits in the loss. Taylor Purucker had a double.

Bridgman Blue….10
Brandywine scored 10 runs in the final two innings to take the victory. Christopher Manger drove in the game-winning run in the bottom of the sixth.

Nick Troxel had two hits and two RBIs in the losing effort.

Buchanan………..7
Buchanan, down 8-3, scored four runs in the sixth, but couldn't tie the game. Justin Henderson and Dallas Reynolds led the team with three RBIs off two hits each. Mac Elliot had three hits for Buchanan.
Niles F.O.P….12
St. Joseph…….2
Niles racked up 21 hits in the blowout. Geordan Griffin led Niles with three hits and three RBIs. Ethan Zimmerman, Connor Glick and Derek Scott each had three hits.

Division A

Howard Township out-hit St. Joseph 11-7, despite losing by a run. Ricky Briand had three hits for Howard. Tyler House and Jeff Miller each added two hits.
Division B
Brandywine No. 2….12
Eau Claire………………8
Cameron Smallmon had two RBIs on two hits to lead Brandywine. Dustin Bell struck out five in two innings of relief work.
New Prairie….8
Buchanan…….5
Down 8-0 in the fourth, Buchanan came on strong in the final three innings. They scored two in the fourth and three in the sixth, but could complete the comback.

Niles scored its only run in the bottom of the sixth. Dustin Wright had the lone RBI.

Niles scored four runs in the bottom of the fifth to pull within one run. Buchanan's Jake Wohlstrom hit a two-run homer in the sixth, though, to give Buchanan the final edge.
