Former Edwardsburg and current Nebraska standout Becky Breisch learned one very important lesson while competing at the United States Track &Field Olympic Trials in California.
It's hard to train for the Olympics and compete in college.
Breisch also learned that if she is going to focus on the 2008 Olympic games, she is going to need some help.
Breisch said that financially, she will need to find a sponsor if she is going to pursue her dream of competing in the Olympics.
Breisch has been pleased with her first three years at Nebraska and said that she had an excellent season in 2004.
She is looking forward to her final season at Nebraska, although she may not compete for the Huskers this coming year.
She said that she would like to concentrate on gaining strength and her form rather than throwing for a certain distance at meets.
