City police offering to help seniors, others with special needs clean up after storm

NILES -- Niles City Police officers are offering to come to the aid of Niles residents who have a real need for help in cleaning up after this week's severe storms.
Capt. James Merriman said on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, staff of the city's police department will be helping citizens who are elderly, have physical impairments or special needs in cleaning up yard debris.
Members of the police department will help remove brush, branches and some smaller trees from your yard to the curb.
