10th annual Big Hole Scramble July 31

The 10th annual Cassopolis Athletic Boosters Big Hole Scramble will be held on Saturday, July 31 at Diamond Lake Golf Course in Cassopolis.
Registration begins at 8 a.m. with a shot gun start slated for 9. Cost is $180 per four-person team, which includes a hog roast and beverages. Prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place teams, along with betting hole, closest to the pin and longest drive. The field is limited to the first 27 teams.

The inaugural Lee Memorial Foundation Golf Outing benefitting Borgess-Lee Memorial Hospital will be held at Spruce Ridge Golf Club on Friday, July 23.
The 18 hole scramble will begin at 10 a.m.
This year's event supports the following programs at Borgess-Lee Memorial: ventilator, ECHO machine and EKG machine.
Cost is $50 per golfer, which includes 18 holes of golf, a box lunch with bottled water (other liquid refreshments available), cart and the opportunity to win prizes for the longest drive (male and female), two closest to the pin and more. Although the Lee Memorial Foundation would prefer foursomes signing up, pairs and individuals are welcome as well. For more information, call 783-3083.
