F.O.P. All-Stars rout Dowagiac in district play

The Niles F.O.P. Little League 11-12 year-old All-Stars opened District 15 Tournament play Tuesday night with a 17-2 win over Dowagiac in Three Rivers.
Cameron Sly pitched all six innings for the win and helped his cause with a home run and a single.
Ramone Brown paced the F.O.P. hitting attack with three hits and three runs scored. Gage Ratkay added a double and a single while Kevin Gross hit a pair of singles. Aaron Davis also hit a double and Deshawn Curtis hit a single.
The F.O.P. 11-12 year-old All-Stars will take on the winner of the game between Marcellus and Mendon, which was rained out Tuesday night, Saturday in Cassopolis at 10 a.m.
Other winners Tuesday night included South Haven, Vicksburg, Three Rivers and Mattawan.
