Kyle King earned the pitching victory for the Phillies. Derek Nichols took the loss for the Yankees.
Dustin Purcell and Colin Latislaw each hit two singles to lead the Phillies at the plate.
Nichols paced the Yankees with a double and a single.
Cardinals………..16
Diamondbacks….1
Chris Mangus earned the win on the mound for the Cardinals with relief help from Brian Exner. Jordan Hatch took the loss for the Diamondbacks.
Exner led the Cards at the plate with a double and three singles.
Tyran Libertowski led the Diamondbacks with two singles.
Braves….14
Orioles….13
The Braves overcame an early deficit to earn the victory and a spot in the Major League World Series against the Phillies. The World Series begins Monday at 9 p.m.
Indians…..13
Red Sox….12
The victory gave the Indians a spot in the Minor League World Series. They will face the Cardinals in the first game of the series on Monday at 7 p.m.
