Cassopolis Days full of fun

CASSOPOLIS -- The band Somewhere in Between is coming from Chicago to add to the line-up of music during this weekend's Cassopolis Days.
The concert, on Saturday, June 26 between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., will benefit the Youth Club of Cass County. They will set up in the United Presbyterian Church parking lot, 209 E. State St.
Other events planned for Saturday, include a 5K and 8K race, with runs starting at 9 a.m. at the Cass County Fairgrounds.
A pancake breakfast at the United Presbyterian Church will take place from 7:30 to 11 a.m.
At 3 p.m. the karaoke contest begins in downtown Cassopolis. The contest is limited to 50 contestants and has a $15 entry fee. Prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place of up to $200, $150 and $100.
From 8 p.m. until midnight, the FBI Blues Band will be performing in downtown Cassopolis.
The Gospel Fest will take place between 2 and 6 p.m. on Sunday at Sam Adams Elementary School with many participants.
Both the blues concert and the the Gospel Fest on Sunday are free to the public.
