YMCA Gators win first summer meet

The Niles-Buchanan YMCA Gators swim team beat Michigan City in the first summer meet.
Competing in the Men's 8 &Under division:
Spencer Fuller brought home all first place finishes. He swam the 40-yard freestyle, the 20-yard breaststroke, and the 80-yard individual medley.
Jason Furst finished second in the 20-yard backstroke, the 20-yard breaststroke, and the 20-yard freestyle.
James Norris finished first in the 20-yard backstroke, and the 20-yard freestyle. He also finished second in the 20-yard butterfly.
Parker Saladin brought home two-first place finishes in the 20-yard butterfly and the 20-yard freestyle. He also finished second in the 80-yard individual medley.
Trayton Saladin took first place in the 20-yard backstroke. He also finished second in the 40-yard freestyle and the 20-yard freestyle.
Competing in the Women's 8 &Under division:
Emily Gordon took home three second place finishes in the 40-yard freestyle, 20-yard backstroke, and the 20-yard freestyle.
Bekah Polega finished third in the 40-yard freestyle, the 20-yard backstroke, and the 20-yard freestyle.
Erin Polega brought home all second place finishes in the 20-yard butterfly, the 20-yard breaststroke, and the 20-yard individual medley.
Katie Polega finished first in the 20-yard backstroke and the 20-yard freestyle.
Competing in the women's 9-10 division:
Caitlin Dippo brought home three- first place finishes in the 100-yard freestyle, 40-yard breaststroke, and the 80-yard individual medley.
Allie Fuller took home three-third place finishes in the 100-yard freestyle, 40-yard backstroke, and the 40-yard freestyle.
Taylor Fuller took first place in the 40-yard breaststroke. She also finished second in the 80-yard individual medley, and third in the 40-yard butterfly.
Amanda Harlow finished first in the 100-yard freestyle, second in the 40-yard butterfly, and third in the 40-yard breaststroke.
Emily Mills brought home two-first place finishes in the 40-yard backstroke and the 40-yard freestyle.
Sarah Polega took second place in the 40-yard backstroke and the 40-yard freestyle. She also finished third in the 40-yard butterfly.
Competing in the Men's 11-12 division:
Ty Alexander swept his events with three-first place finishes. He competed in the 40-yard butterfly, 40-yard freestyle, and the 80-yard individual medley.
Evan Harlow finished first in the 40-yard breaststroke. He also finished second in the 100-yard freestyle and the 40-yard backstroke.
T.J. Polega finished first in the 100-yard freestyle and the 40-yard backstroke. He also finished second in the 80-yard individual medley.
Competing in the Women's 11-12 division:
Carlee Rankel finished first in the 40-yard butterfly and second in the 80-yard individual medley.
Competing in the Men's 13-14 division:
Ian Dippo brought home three-first place finishes in the 100-yard freestyle, 100-yard breaststroke, and the 160 yard individual medley.
Competing in the Women's 13-14 division:
Jessy Gordon finished second in the 40-yard freestyle and third in the 100-yard freestyle.
Emily Harlow finished first in the 100-yard breaststroke and in the 160 yard individual medley. She also finished second in the 100-yard backstroke.
Lindsey McCarty brought home three-first place finishes in the 100-yard freestyle, 100-yard backstroke, and the 40-yard freestyle.
Michael Rattenbury finished first in the 100-yard butterfly. He also finished second in the 100-yard freestyle and the 40-yard freestyle.
