BUCHANAN -- For the third time in 10 days, Brandywine and Buchanan met on the soccer field Tuesday night and it turned out to be the most lopsided of the three contests.
Buchanan cruised to a 5-1 victory after beating Brandywine 2-1 the first time and tying 1-1 in the second match.
The two teams will meet once more, in the first round of the Division 4 District Tournament on Tuesday at 5 p.m. at Bridgman.
Bethany Daniel scored the Bobcats' only goal and co-coach Jim McNamara did not mix words when discussing his team's effort.
Buchanan freshman Natalie Barclay scored twice in the first half and once in the second half. Felicia Lotsbaich added one goal in the first half and Robyn Bahr scored in the second.
The win lifted Buchanan's record to 3-10-5 while Brandywine dropped to 1-10-1.
