The Niles varsity soccer team won a Big 16 Conference Tournament game Monday night with a 2-0 decision over Harper Creek.
Sarah Barth scored off an assist from Amber Peters and Katie Pulaski scored off an assist from Nicole Fink.
Coach Peters was also very pleased with the team's defensive effort.
The Niles junior varsity team also beat Harper Creek Monday night, with a 2-1 decision. Abby Mitchell led the defense, which allowed only 10 shots. Goalkeeper Ashley Shuster had seven saves. Kate Sebastian scored both goals for the Vikings.
