Performance by city employees and private citizens who pitched in to help clean up storm damage "is an absolute testimony to the dedication of the community to continue to make this as good a place as it is," City Manager Bill Nelson praised at Monday night's City Council meeting.
Assistant City Attorney Roosevelt Thomas was caught in the storm driving back from Centreville. "I appreciate the fierceness of the wind and rain that were out there, and you guys did a great job. My hat's off to you."
