Cory Coquillard and Kyle Kidwell each hit a home run as the Niles varsity baseball team beat Brandywine 4-0 in the first game of the Penn (Ind.) Kingsmen Diamond Klassic Saturday night in Mishawaka, Ind.
Adrian Davis tossed a two-hitter to improve to 1-1 on the year.
Kory Bridges took the loss for Brandywine, allowing just four hits and falling to 6-6 on the season.
Niles is now 18-8 for the season and returns to play in the Kingsmen Diamond Klassic tonight at 8 p.m.
Brandywine is now 13-14 for the season and will play at Penn today at 5:30 p.m.
