Edwardsburg freshman Rebecca Mondich needed just one half to score three goals in a 3-0 win over Brandywine Monday evening.
And one half is all she got as the game was cut short due to thunderstorms. The game was called off just two minutes into the second half.
Mondich scored the first goal of the game just five minutes into the action and then scored her second goal in the sixth minute.
Tayler Swaim assisted the first goal and Katie Boyles assisted the second.
Finally, Mondich scored an unassisted goal in the 25th minute to reach the 3-0 lead.
Edwardsburg outshot the Bobcats 10-3. Brandywine goalkeeper Judy Schlutt recorded four saves and Edwardsburg keeper Jennie Haines had one save.
The Eddies are now 7-6 on the season while Brandywine is 1-7.
The Bobcats return to action Saturday, travelling to Edwardsburg again for the Edwardsburg Invitational which begins at 9 a.m.
