The Buchanan junior varsity tennis team finished second among eight teams at the first annual Buck Class JV Tennis Tournament Saturday.
Portage Central won the tournament with 33 points. Buchanan and Marshall each scored 24 while St. Joseph scored 22. Lakeshore scored 16, Edwardsburg eight, Niles five and Paw Paw four.
Buchanan's Brad Burns captured the No. 4 singles title. Stephen Mace and Brandon Smeltzer finished second at No. 1 doubles while Dillon Bailey and Andrew Scoggin took second at No. 4 doubles.
