NILES -- In its only home game of the season, the Brandywine soccer team came out flat and forgot what it had learned this season.
The Bobcats suffered a 5-1 loss to Granger (Ind.) Christian in non-conference play Thursday evening.
Thanks to problems with the bleachers at Brandywine's football stadium, the soccer team has been unable to host games this season. Thursday night, however, temporary bleachers were moved in and fans brought folding chairs to enjoy the game.
The Knights took a 4-0 lead before Bethany Daniel scored Brandywine's only goal of the game. Whitney Wood and Lauren Frazier each scored twice for Granger while Katie House scored the game's first goal.
