The No. 5-ranked Brandywine varsity softball team rolled over another Lakeland Conference opponent Friday evening, beating River Valley 7-2 and 10-1 to improve its record to 15-4 overall and 8-0 in league play.
Nicki McGowen earned both victories to boost her record to 15-4. She also was a force at the plate with two singles in the opener and three singles and a double in the second game.
Amanda Grice hit two singles and two doubles in the second game as well as pitching the final two innings.
Dee Echevarria added two singles in the second game.
The Bobcats play in the Mattawan Tournament today at 9 a.m. against Coloma.
