NILES -- Niles' City Council will take its show on the road Monday night when it holds its meeting at the Mount Calvary Baptist Church, 601 Ferry St., Niles.
The meeting, which begins at 7:30 p.m., will be preceded by a public hearing on an application for an industrial facilities exemption certificate for National-Standard.
That means National-Standard is seeking a tax break of monies it plans to invest in its Niles facilities. The City Council will consider the issue during its meeting Monday night. The public hearing is an opportunity for residents to express their opinions on the application.
